Why you should book a (private) guide

You can go sightseeing in Split on your own. Many tourists do, and they often ask: “Excuse me, do you know where Diocletian’s grave is?”, or: “Is there an ATM around?”, “Is this a good restaurant?” and on and on… Some answers can be found in guidebooks, but some aren’t written down. No guidebook will tell you how we live, none of them can picture a Dalmatian state of mind, and in no book will you find inside stories only a local knows… I’m your local, I’m your guide.
